The exhibition “Exteriors and Interiors” at Galerie Karsten Greve presents new works by Robert Polidori, born in 1951 in Montreal. Polidori’s images of outside and inside realms within an urban context resemble actual portraits that record alterations in the individual appearance of buildings and cities, caused by the passing of time. In addition to architecture, marked by violent acts and natural decay, Polidori depicts the rampant growth of so-called cités sauvages, which takes place beyond controlled urbanistic development.
