From 30 August until 28 September 2014, painter and photographer Martin Streit will be opening a large, walk-in camera obscura to the public on Roncalliplatz. The Cathedral's south portal will be visible. Alongside his painting, Martin Streit works with a transportable camera obscura employing digital technology. He photographs people in the urban context, architecture and still-lifes. Martin Streit studied at the Düsseldorf Academy of Art under Gotthard Graubner.
