Pi Heinz’s works testify, as so often in photography, to the elapsing of time. Time is halted and transience becomes all the clearer. His found objects from the wayside are often carelessly discarded objects which, however, are imbued with new meanings. Quite a lot is puzzling in these images. And puzzling is the way it’s meant to stay. The still-lifes really are still, they point to the person who, despite being absent, is constantly present in them. The works are unique transfers created by the artist.
