Michael Ebert is a freelance photographer and publicist as well as chairman of the “Image” section of the German Photographic Society (DGPh). He teaches on the photojournalism and documentary photography course at the University of Hanover and is head of the picture journalism course at the University of Magdeburg. One focus of his work is on war and humanistic documentary photography.
